Welcome to Camp Longleaf, we are excited for our first overnight summer adventure this year!
The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center has been in operation for 10 years, teaching local schools about the importance of conservation. Camp Longleaf provides campers the opportunity to see and interact with our animal ambassadors, enjoy our beautiful conservation land, and get out of their comfort zone to try new things. Our campers are not just having “fun” at camp; they are growing and learning in our native ecosystems. Campers choose morning electives such as Arts & Crafts, Survival Skills, Habitat Exploration Hikes, Dip Netting, Science Experiments, and Drama. There is truly no substitute for the camp experience. We believe that we offer a safe and secure program where campers can engage in fun outdoor activities and have the opportunity to be a kid. Campers will have the chance to play endless games in the GaGa pit, laugh as our counselors lead them through camp songs and stories, learn new things in our morning electives, and make friends that will last for years to come.
